About me
I have used a needle and thread for as long as I can remember.
I had watched my maternal grandmother making her own clothes and later sat by my Mother as she repaired and restored Welsh quilts for Jen Jones for over thirty years.
It seemed a natural progression for me to make use of those discarded and damaged quilts and blankets to create new things.
Since then I have been immensely privileged to have examined and handled the visible surface fabrics of these wonderfully crafted quilts and their various fillings.
It is out of these rare and salvaged pieces of textile that I create unique items to be enjoyed.
